>We Need to Talk.

>Hey Everyone!

Many of you know that I love to read others’ blogs, sometimes more than I enjoy writing my own. And I have been seeing something out there in blog-land that I need to address.

There are too many apologies out there!!!!!
I’m sorry for sayin’ (haha, get it??). I mostly see “sorry for the photo quality, these were taken at night”. Come on, ladies! We are strong, confident, capable women. Something I learned a long time ago is to never, ever, broadcast your perceived flaws. You know – “my stomach is too fat” or “my butt is too big” or “this flash photography is bad”. People are far too busy thinking about their own flaws to notice yours. Until you point it out to them. “Oh, yea, you do have a bit of a muffin top” or “wow, I didn’t notice the size of your butt before…..” or “oh, now I see what you are talking about. yes, that would have been a better shot in the sunlight.”

Hmmm. You are what you eat.

So, please, don’t preface any of your work with an apology. You don’t need to. Okay, when people start blowing up your comments about your big butt or your poor photography, then you can apologize…..

Groovy kitchen, man!

P.S. I just found the best blog! Ugly House Photos is like looking at fetish architectural porn! Its so bad and so good at the same time.

    >I know what you mean, I think it may have something to do with all the blogging advice a the moment, tips about having fab photos or keeping a schedule of posting regularly. I must admit I never actually realised that so much work went in to some blogs!! Great post!
