>Pokemon Battle T Shirt

>Hey Everyone!

I have seen a bunch of tutes on the internet about using Sharpie pens on tees. Heck, I even found Sharpies for fabric at the Walmart the other day. Ummm, that might seem redundant. Regular Sharpies stain clothing very well on their own. But at more than twice the price I’m sure its a money maker……

I got me the limited edition ’80s color Sharpie pack. Yes, I am a child of the ’80s, I grew up with leg warmers, neon and hair bands. Don’t laugh, leg warmers over skinny jeans are HOT! Who’s with me? Anyway, my daughter saw the Sharpies, heard my plan and wanted me to make her a shirt. Like, right now. Next time I will patiently complete the process, we went a little fast this time and it shows. Even so, I think it turned out cool.
We have a thrifted white tee from the closet, Sharpie pens and rubbing alcohol (not shown).

I tried to make a freezer paper iron on, didn’t work this time. My creative daughter tried to weigh down the image with a beer glass. We stippled several colors onto the shirt and sprayed liberaly with rubbing alcohol.

We sprayed very liberaly.

After letting the alcohol dry (could have used more drying time. Not a project if you’re in a hurry) I then drew and colored in the characters. I wanted this image to be sharper so no more alcohol. Once you’re done then set the ink with a hot iron.
After a hand wash and dry.
Voilia! This is Latios vs. Latias. Pokemon fight.
